Over Motor FumesI hang from branches  And float down calm  Hit the ground and float, again  Through the air, so full  Of trash and wet-dog smell.   
Cigarett butts scattered  On the ground, so dead  And brown, grass has left  These lack-luster lives of guns  and crack dealers wives.   
Motor fumes so dizzy  I float through the trees,  Left alone and grey  Their barkless branches  Creak and sway.   
The neon lit beacon  Full of caffine, told of its  Story and blinked,  It lead the way, through  Broken windows, air and trees.

Hi I'm just a stranger here to tell you about how I read Hitchhiker's(first one) and then Mostly Harmless, in that order. (I skipped the other three from a combination of them not being at my school library/not being Reading Counts! books.)
I wa wholly unimpressed with the Doctor Suess style inventive crap of the 1st one, giving it a two out of 5, but I wa able to pick up on Mostly Harmless and I was suprised by it's sudden themes more than halfway into the book.
Definitely a perplexing read! I guess, off to read Restaurant at the End of the Universe and the other ones, someday!
